Hazardous Activities and Sports
Before you participate in any kind of potentially hazardous activity on holiday, such as a hot air balloon trip, helicopter ride or any kind of sporting activity, it is very important to check that you have the right travel insurance cover in place.
If you do not have travel insurance cover for an activity, you could find yourself with large medical bills if you have an accident and require emergency medical treatment.
Goodtogoinsurance.eu includes more than 70 activities as standard including rambling and trekking up to 2000 metres, sailing within 12 miles of land and glass bottom boat trips.
You can also upgrade your policy to include cover for more adventurous activities, such as hot air ballooning, helicopter rides and cycle touring by adding cover for Hazardous Activities B to C (available for travellers up to age 75).
Hazardous Activity Cover
Adding the appropriate level of activity cover will extend Section B1: Curtailment and Section B4: Medical expenses to provide cover for you whilst taking part in hazardous activities for recreational purposes only, where the activity is not the sole purpose of your trip. (In this instance, sole purpose shall mean taking part in hazardous pursuits on more than 50% of the number of days of your booked trip).
No cover is provided for taking part in competitions or in any professional capacity.
Please note. You will not be covered under Section B10: Personal Liability, whilst taking part in hazardous activities or sports.
For full terms and conditions and a list of all the sports and activities that can be covered please read our policy wording.
Hazardous Activity cover can be added to any policy if you are 75 or under.
Goodtogoinsurance.eu provides travel insurance with cover for medical conditions and has no age limits. Please check that any activities you will be taking part in are covered. Hazardous activity cover can be added to your policy to meet your requirements.
